The finishing touches will probably be applied sometime in the next few days. The plan was to release the game sometime this week, and we're still following that schedule.
Copy-pasting something for you posted the last thread, in case you didn't see it:
"Hey, Pun-kun. I'm the guy that asked about menus in last thread. I then went to Yandere's IRC to get some info from the team. This is what they said. If it's anything like Majikoi, then the text doesn't exist as images It's actual text The text should be in files called Button.dat and FontColor.dat while are located within Config.pac, iirc"
I have a sort of temporary solution to the menu problem. ie. Injecting textures externally using Texmod. (Texmod is not made by me, it's a tool that has been lying around for some time and has been used a lot for modding games.) Here's a sort of proof of concept: http://www.mediafire.com/?bb68792918jcmr8 Extract what's in this to the majikoi trial folder, and run AutoLoad.exe, wait until it starts the game, and then go to the config page to see results. (Ignore my very weak image editing, please.)
I have a small question. Be it in the trial or the full game, Majikoi S splits into continuations of each route right after the prologue right? Meaning we can still play say...the continuation of Momoyo's route without having played the Agave/True route in the first game and not be spoiled right?
No spoiler in the trial, it's more like a continuation of the common route. So the only thing it'll spoil is the common route of the original game, which you probably played already.

Yeah, I figured out that it's somewhere in the Config.pac.
DeleteBut no tools for it, and I don't know how.
I don't think it's necessary.

That's pretty cool, I'll think about using that in the full game.
DeleteCan anyone here please tell me where to get the trial version?

ReplyDeleteYup, but in the full game only. Only (a part of) common route is available in trial.
