    1. nono... punkun already state that he will release both margit and kokoro as one patch in previous few post

    2. Two weeks ago (2 posts below this newest one) he says,
"(Will not be releasing one at a time.) "

So you should probably stop hoping because it's wasted hope. Use your hope on something else that might happen.

    3. It should take him about another three weeks to finish editing everything in the next patch lol. Still an awesome speed of progess.

  2. Still eagerly awaiting the good news every week. Keep up the good job mates.

  4. So, current batch patch is for Margit, Kokoro, and Kosugi, right? Since Kosugi's route is just a 2-part H-scene and Margit's is almost done... Is it safe to assume it'll be finished 1 month from now?

    1. There's only two scenes in Kosugi route. One that has no H-scene, and one that has. And that's it. Kind of a silly thing to have.

    2. I think it needs more than 1 month depends on the current editing speed.

  5. Greetings, Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai! is truly an awesome series. But tho I am very happy to know that that translation is going on its sequel (Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai! S) I would really want that translation of the original game would be finished, since Miyako is one of my favorites heroins. So to the biasness: "O almighty Pun-kun can you, please pick of where Yundere have left of, since it sames they disappeared for good. Of course after you finish Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai! S?"

P.S.: Or perhaps someone else could do it? Or perhaps someone willing to share software and knowledge how to make a translation with me so I could try to finish it myself.

    4. Or, he's not a fucking asshole. They've made NO progress in months. There is NO WORD from them, even on their IRC. The translation has died, and it's time someone else picked it up.

    5. I know progress snuck in a month ago. Hoping for more.

We have a new home and the old layout has been restored, but we lost all of our posts and forum data from the previous server and the only backups we have are old posts from web.archive.org dated May 14th, 2011. We’ll try to restore as much as possible, but the site will need a lot of work. So please bear with us while we try to get everything up and running." Extract from the site

  11. Damn 15% alreadY? The routes muts be short as hell. But what do you exacly do for "editing" only seems you finished a little of it.

    ReplyDelete

    1. I'm pretty sure editing is to make sure the grammar is correct along with any spelling mistakes, japanese and english sentence structures are very different you know.

      Delete
    2. So, if that's editing, then what's translating? Does he just Google Translate everything then fix it with the editing?

      Delete
    3. If that was possible, I would be playing it right now.

      Delete
    4. @Anonymous

Huh? Translating is turning it from Japanese to English. Editing is done at a later time (by fixing grammar, spelling, and structures).

Of course he doesn't use google translate.

Have you ever written a letter or essay? Your first draft is going to have many errors. You go back and edit it to fix it up. The same applies here.

    2. As i said, an info for who's interested in another translated visual novel. Btw, i'm not the one translating that ^_^

      Delete
    3. Still don't understand... It's posted on VNTLS for anyone who would care. Plus it's months away from being done. They've taken several months to get from 0% edited to 36%

  16. Anyone know AGTH code for "Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai!"?
I really want to read Miyako rout >.<

    ReplyDelete
  17. I have been able to use AGTH without a code just the standard:
    C:\agth\agth.exe /c /x
before the target in the properties menu

I Should say that it is next to in possible to read giving the manner of speech most of the characters use with Noae and Miyako being the most difficult to read

    1. Impossible you mean? Yes I tried it on one route and I gave up nothing made sence....

      Delete
    2. And that's why we have to wait for translations...

      Delete
    3. But translation of the original game have stopped :(

      Delete
    4. And that's why we are fucked...

    5. I heard they just had just problem with there "hosting" but I think that is bull since it has been months.

      Delete
    6. Seems they have a new site up and running now
      http://yandere.tindabox.net/

      good news.

      Delete
    7. The fact that they have the old site running doesn't mean they've translated anything. So, for now, the site is basically useless. Hope to see some fucking progress in the future.

  18. Thanks!!!! Keep up the awesome work!!!

  19. i must say i love you pun-kun. i want like give you donations and stuff. thanks for the hard work

  20. no malice intentions or rudeness meant in this but, could it be possible by any chance for Pun-kun and corp. to take over the first majikoi translation after they're done with S?

just wondering really. please don't get mad =X

    1. Dude, the Yandere site is back up. Now they should get into gear and finish the Majikoi translation. Or they can just be assholes and leave the entire thing unfinished.

      Delete
    2. They just need to get set up is all. They should continue once they have everything set up. It is very awesome that they have a website back and I hope they are doing well. Besides Majokoi S translation is coming around so they have time to get stuff together.

      Delete
    3. I heard the website WASN'T the problem, he didn't heve suffient free time to do it.

      Delete
    4. Sounds about right. I mean it makes sense after all they are doing this in their spare time. Still hope they are doing okay and take care. Glad they got the website back at any rate.

      Delete
    5. well, i did say "AFTER S IS DONE"

and again, i had no ill will.

its just that it seemed to me, they [Yandere] lost interest in it. but i might be pointing the gun too wildly here, we'll see how it goes. glad they got their website up again.

hope we'll hear from them regarding Majikoi soon ^^

      Delete
    6. It's not that TakaJun (The translator) lost interest in it, it's simply that he started a job that severely limits his free time.

Personally I think it's a joke that people are even insulting Yandere for going slow when there was a clear reason given for the slowdown, not to mention all of the completed projects that they have done.

People need to seriously realize that not every translator is Ixrec speed and can do 3.5 mb of text in less than a year. Hell, it took TakaJun basically 3 years to finish Fate/Stay Night.

Needless to say, Majikoi will get done, but it's obviously going to take time, and people need to learn to have some patience. As far as I remember, the site went down when Miyako was at 35% or so, and now it's at 50% so it's not like he's sitting there twiddling his thumbs.

      Delete
    7. it went down at 45%. just saying, though. i agree
